Today is the day that the International Conferderation of Principals starts. The opening ceremony is at 2 pm so we have the morning to have a little explore. This time we visit the Sibelius monument. Jean Sibelius was a very famous Finnish composer who composed the song Finlandia which is a very grand tune and is used in films and is loved by the Finns.

Then a lovely wander by the lake. Parts of Finland are very picturesque.

How lovely this scene is.The conference was at Finlandia Hall and people greeted us as we registered and then waited for the ceremony to start.
